Based on a true story, “God’s Here,” directed by Bill McAdams Jr., debuts on streaming platforms on November 19. The film follows firefighter Jack Gilmore, played by McAdams Jr., as he navigates the aftermath of a tragic texting-and-driving accident that claimed his wife and son. Amid his grief, Jack encounters a young girl tied to his past, leading to a journey of healing and forgiveness.
Kevin Sorbo (Rapt alum) stars as Detective Kent Powers, whose investigation reveals a surprising personal connection to the case. Sorbo shares, “I hope this film lets people find the definition of forgiveness and redemption and hope. This country needs it more than ever. We live in such an impatient world right now.”
The film also marks the acting debut of singer-songwriter Sarah Reeves, who contributes original music to the soundtrack. Reeves describes the project as carrying “a message of hope and unity,” showing how faith can bring light to even the darkest seasons.
