Kristene DiMarco, songwriter and worship leader with Bethel Music, has unveiled her latest single, “Death Is Hollow,” just in time for Holy Week. This track is a compelling and capturing testament to the Christian victory over death, embodying the hope and resurrection power found in Jesus Christ.

DiMarco encapsulates the essence of the song, stating, “Death does not have the final word because Jesus reigns victorious. So, we press on toward the prize of knowing that one day we will be raised with Christ and see him face to face.”

She further elaborates, “While we still kneel beside graves that are full, we remember the promise of them one day being empty. Jesus is the firstborn from the dead. His grave holds no body, no bones, no trace of the perishable. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: ‘Death has been swallowed up in victory’ (1 Corinthians 15:54).”
