In a harmonious blend of past and present, the multi-platinum, Grammy-winning duo for KING + COUNTRY (brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone) joins forces with Michael W. Smith to reinvigorate the 90s hit “Place in This World.” This song marks the duo’s first release of 2024 but also serves as a prelude to their upcoming movie, a family biopic entitled “UNSUNG HERO,” as well as an accompanying movie-inspired soundtrack.

“Place in This World” holds a special place in the hearts of the Australian-born brothers, forming a part of their childhood soundtrack. Their new version, featuring Smith, weaves nostalgia with contemporary sound, showcasing their reverence for the song and its original artist.

The film, “UNSUNG HERO,” directed by Joel Smallbone, narrates the true story of his family’s journey from Australia to the United States. It highlights the struggles and triumphs of the Smallbone family, underlining the power of faith and music in overcoming adversity. It will be in theaters nationwide on April 26. See a trailer here.
