Jen Wilkin’s newest Bible study, “The Way of Wisdom,” offers a grounded, eight-session walk through the book of Proverbs. Co-written with Ruth Chou Simons, Kelly Minter, Adrienne Camp, Elizabeth Woodson and Courtney Doctor, the study pairs weekly personal reading with group sessions that feature video teaching from each contributor.

Wilkin opens and closes the series, anchoring the experience around the theme of the “fear of the Lord” — a thread running from Proverbs 1 to Proverbs 31. “I get to teach on the beginning and the end of the book of Proverbs, which share a common theme of the fear of the Lord as the beginning of wisdom,” she says. “I am eager to show participants that the book of Proverbs is a cohesive, full circle story that ends where it begins.”

Each week focuses on a practical theme — words, money, relationships, work, leadership, home — offering a pace and tone that’s unhurried but focused. The material doesn’t try to wow or overcomplicate. It simply invites readers to sit with Scripture and apply it in quiet, meaningful ways.

Whether studied solo or in a group, “The Way of Wisdom” offers steady insight for anyone seeking to live wisely in the world as it is.
