When Museum of the Bible opens “Dead Sea Scrolls: The Exhibition” on November 22, 2025, visitors will step into a focused look at scroll fragments and artifacts from the Second Temple period. The collection includes early biblical texts alongside everyday items that help paint a grounded picture of Jewish life roughly 2,000 years ago.

Dr. Carlos Campo, CEO of the museum, explains, “Visitors will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore scroll fragments and historic artifacts that prove the integrity of Scripture over centuries.” Chief Curatorial Officer Dr. Bobby Duke adds, “It is an incredibly rare and unique opportunity to see the oldest copies of biblical fragments alongside many more artifacts that help us to better understand the biblical world.”

The exhibit unfolds in three rotations, beginning with fragments from books like Genesis, Job and Psalms. Later sections highlight additional scrolls and close with artifacts such as the first-century “Jesus boat” and the Magdala Stone. Digital displays and historical imagery help trace the discovery and testing of the scrolls without overwhelming the experience.

The result is a calm, steady walk through ancient texts and objects — an exhibit that lets the history speak for itself.
