Anne Wilson

Anne Wilson is taking the message behind her music a step further with her new book, “Rebel: Following Jesus When the World Walks the Other Way.” Released through W Publishing, the book builds on the themes of faith and conviction that shaped her “REBEL” album, encouraging readers to follow Christ even when it means standing apart from the culture around them.

Rather than offering abstract ideas, Wilson mixes stories from her own life with biblical teaching, practical takeaways and chapter-ending prayers. The result is a conversational guide aimed at helping readers pursue a faith that is steady, intentional and rooted in obedience. The book is written for longtime Christians as well as those still exploring what it means to follow Jesus.

“Jesus changed my life when he showed me that following him isn’t about fitting in, it’s about standing out for his kingdom,” Wilson says. “‘Rebel’ is an invitation to live with that kind of bold faith. My hope is that readers walk away inspired to trust God more deeply, love him more fully and courageously follow him wherever he leads.”

The release continues a busy season for Wilson, whose writing ministry has grown alongside her music. Following “My Jesus” and the K-LOVE Fan Award-winning “Hey Girl” devotional, “Rebel” reflects her ongoing focus on helping readers find their identity and confidence in Christ.
