Bethel Music worship leader Noah Paul Harrison is stepping out with his first full-length solo album, “Do Not Go Gentle,” an eight-song live project shaped by a season when faith didn’t always come with easy answers.

Released August 28, the album grew largely out of Harrison’s life after moving with his wife, Carling, to New York City in late 2023. Several songs were written in their Manhattan apartment as the couple navigated both rewarding moments and some of their hardest years. That tension runs throughout the record, which deals openly with dependence, perseverance, disappointment and trusting God when the way forward feels uncertain.

“This album is not just a collection of songs, it really represents the last two or three years of my life,” Harrison says. “My heart for this project is that it would capture the reality of a relationship with the Lord — the grit, the struggle and the things we have to wrestle with, but also the beauty of the way he meets us in the middle of it all.”

The album includes “My Honor To Need You,” co-written with Carling, along with “He Wasted Nothing,” “The Lifter Of My Head” and closing track “Fear No Evil.” Guests Gable Price, David Funk and Aubree Archibeck also appear across the project.
