SEU Worship Finds Treasure in ‘Found in the Field’

SEU Worship is back with a new live album, “Found in the Field,” recorded at Bush Chapel on the campus of Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. The 13-track project reflects the worship collective’s ongoing focus on songs shaped by its student community and campus gatherings.

The album takes its name and central idea from Jesus’ parable of the hidden treasure in Matthew 13, where a man joyfully gives up everything to possess what he has found. For SEU Worship, that image became a way of talking about the worth of knowing Jesus and choosing to stay close to his presence.

“‘Found in the Field’ captures the incomparable treasure of knowing Jesus, a discovery so abundant and joyful it makes trading everything else for him the easy choice,” SEU Worship’s Chelsea Plank said. “It speaks to staying rooted in his presence.”

Guests include Abbie Gamboa on “NEED YOU” and “Keep Me Right Here,” along with Aodhan King on “rlly ❤️ u.” The album also features “Wild Rushing Wind,” recorded during a campus gathering that developed into 10 days of continued worship and prayer.

Across “Found in the Field,” SEU Worship keeps the focus simple: knowing Jesus, wanting more of his presence and responding with worship.
