Tauren Wells

Tauren Wells is leaning further into congregational worship on his fourth studio album, “Breathe On It.” The 16-track project brings together gospel, worship, and pop influences while keeping its focus on the life of the Church and the work of God in ordinary places.

Several songs will already be familiar to listeners, including “Thank You for the Cross,” “Bless Your Name” and “Sunday Morning,” featuring Pastor Mike Jr. Wells also welcomes guests Phil Wickham, Hulvey, Elevation Worship, ECCOS, Samu Robles and Robert Angel, creating a collaborative feel throughout the album.

Many of the songs were shaped by Wells’ experiences as a pastor and church planter. Themes of trust, renewal and community run through the record, particularly on tracks such as “The Church Is On Fire,” “Here Comes The Church” and the title cut.

Speaking about the project’s central message, Wells said, “I’m asking God to breathe on it,” describing the album as a prayer that God would bring life and purpose beyond human effort.

Rather than chasing a single sound, “Breathe On It” moves comfortably between worship anthems, gospel-inspired moments, and reflective songs. The result is a collection centered on faith, gathered worship and the hope that God is still at work in unfinished stories.
