Tim Tebow
Tim Tebow spent years encouraging people to find their identity in Christ. When the Jacksonville Jaguars released him in 2021, he had to work through what that meant for himself. Watching his worst moments replay on television, he struggled to separate a disappointing performance from his worth as a person.
That experience informs “40 Days to Look Again,” his new devotional, released September 29 through Nelson Books. A companion to his 2025 book “Look Again,” it gives readers a daily framework for thinking about identity, disappointment and the pressure to earn approval.
“I want people to look again at where they’ve been getting their worth from,” Tebow told Crosswalk.
Each entry combines a short story, Scripture and a simple practice to help readers apply what they’re learning. The format makes room for steady reflection on how being made in God’s image shapes everyday life.
Tebow also addresses the uncertainty that follows a closed door. Serving people overseas helped him reconsider his own career disappointment, though he says that perspective still takes effort. His hope is that readers facing an unexpected change can begin to see possibilities beyond the future they originally pictured.
