Fox News Audio is rolling out “The Life of Jesus,” a 52-episode dramatized podcast that tells the story of Jesus with fresh production and an easygoing feel. Each half-hour episode is introduced by “Fox & Friends” co-host Ainsley Earhardt, who guides listeners “through the life, teachings and miracles of Jesus Christ.”
The podcast uses a wide cast — more than 100 actors — to voice the people who fill the Gospel narratives. Kristen Bell plays Mary Magdalene, Sean Astin takes on Matthew, Neal McDonough voices Jesus, Brian Cox portrays the voice of God and Malcolm McDowell steps into the role of Caiaphas.
Episodes are arranged into four seasonal installments, beginning November 30, and are timed to match moments like Advent. The pacing is steady and approachable, offering listeners a simple way to sit with the stories many grew up hearing.
Designed to make Scripture feel accessible whether or not someone regularly reads the Bible, the series blends straightforward storytelling with thoughtful production. For anyone open to hearing the New Testament in a calm, audio-drama style, “The Life of Jesus” may be an easy place to start or a comfortable return to familiar ground.
