Ann Voskamp

Ann Voskamp was born in North Perth, Ontario. She lives there still, on a farm with Darryl, whom she calls the “Farmer,” and their seven children. She is best known for “One Thousand Gifts,” a book about counting good things, so that we might catch God in the moment of the gift. It spent more than a year on bestseller lists and got a great many strangers counting too. Her own website tallies it all up like this: “Author of 4 NYTimes bestsellers, mama to 7, wife of 1 fine farmer, eyes set on living for an audience of One."
